Have you been looking at our course offerings for some time but don't know where to start? These single day courses are a great way to introduce yourself to reflexology and relaxation techniques, or to round out your existing bodywork practice.
Join us for some big-impact courses, in which you’ll quickly learn techniques you can use immediately with your own clients! You’ll earn 5 hours-of-training on your “Certificate of Attendance” for each course you attend, adding experience and expertise to your repertoire of therapeutic skills, and CEUs to your professional resume.
INTRODUCTION TO FOOT REFLEXOLOGY
Have you ever wanted to learn how to get rid of a headache by squeezing your toe? You’ll get immediate hands-on learning opportunities in this short-format reflexology course, learning the ‘map’ of the body on the feet, and accessing it to help yourself and others feel better. We’ll talk about safety, general reflexology concepts, and share some useful techniques to see if this is the modality for you! We’ll round out our time together performing a mini-session on one another, so we can witness first-hand the effectiveness of this ancient technique.
KIDS AND REFLEXOLOGY: SUCCESS STORIES AND FORMULAS
We’ve interviewed reflexologists for kid strategies that work. Here are our top reflexology ‘formulas’ for help with healing booboos, getting over a flu, calming hyperactivity or anxiety; relieving pain, and stimulating self-care. Help kids understand the healing power of their own bodies, and help yourself feel better with a happier, more comfortable kid.
REFLEXOLOGY ERGONOMICS
Healer, heal thyself. Better yet, invest in self-care knowledge that helps you stay healthy and practicing, and enjoying a long career as a reflexologist. Learn how to protect your most valuable tool—your thumb!—and proper posture for performing reflexology in seated or standing positions. We’ll explore table-height to seat-height ratio, body mechanics, hand care, injury prevention and more, while gaining an understanding of how the body works in postural function and dysfunction, including common muscular and fascial patterns for reflexologists.
